Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital Offers Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital is accepting applications for its Teen Age Group Service (TAGS). The TAGS program provides teens volunteer opportunities at the hospital. Current high school students and eighth graders who will enter high school in the fall of 2018 are encouraged to apply. Every day, Northwestern Medicine volunteers touch the lives of patients, families and other visitors. A friendly smile, a helpful hand and a warm heart can make a real difference in the experience people have when they are in the hospital or receiving care.

Deadline to submit application is May 1, 2018. Interviews are scheduled with the future TAGS volunteer and a parent/guardian. Orientation and two training sessions are required. Applications are available in the hospital’s Volunteer Services office, by calling 815.756.1521 ext. 153373 or by emailing Sally.Brotcke@nm.org.
