Northwestern Medicine Expands Immediate Care Services to Streeterville

CHICAGO, IL – The Northwestern Medicine Streeterville Immediate Care Center opens its doors today to patients in Streeterville and surrounding neighborhoods. This grand opening marks the third immediate care center location in Chicago and the seventh location in Illinois for Northwestern Medicine.

Conveniently located in the heart of the Northwestern Medicine campus, the center is located at 635 N. Fairbanks Court off of Ontario Street and walking distance from Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The 4,260 square foot facility boasts several exam rooms, digital X-Ray and EKG services, on-site lab testing, and self-service kiosks.

The Streeterville Immediate Care Center is always staffed by a licensed, board-certified physician and other healthcare providers who are trained to evaluate and treat a variety of medical conditions in adult and pediatric patients six months and older.

Common conditions include:

  • Cough, colds, flu, and diarrhea
  • Cuts, animal bites, burns and sprains
  • Urinary tract infections and STD screenings
  • Allergic reactions, skin irritations and rashes
  • Broken bones, dislocations, sprains and strains
  • Foreign bodies in the eye, ear or nose

The Streeterville Immediate Care Center operates from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. seven days a week and walk-ins are welcome. The last patient registration is at 7:45 p.m. Self-parking is available at the Erie Ontario Parking Garage located at 321 E. Erie Street with a patient rate of $11/7 hours. The CTA Red Line Grand station is a 10 minute walk and several CTA bus routes are conveniently located right outside the center.
